Kit (formerly ConvertKit) is available on Starter and above. Free accounts can still view their leads and export them as a CSV.
Create an API key in Kit. In Kit go to Settings, then Developer, and create a v4 API key. Copy it.
Connect once. In QuizFly go to Integrations in the sidebar, press Connect Kit, paste the key and press Connect. QuizFly checks the key with Kit straight away. We never show the key again. To change it later, press Replace key.
Then set it up per quiz. Open the quiz → Connect & Launch → Send leads to… → the Kit block. Turn on Send leads to Kit, pick any tags to add to every lead, and pick a tag for each result. Use Create tag to make a new tag without leaving QuizFly. Refresh tags on the Integrations page picks up tags you made inside Kit.
What happens with each lead. The moment someone finishes your quiz, QuizFly adds them to Kit as a subscriber (or updates them if they are already there), then adds the tags you chose. Any Kit automation or sequence that starts on "tag added" runs as usual.
No confirmation email. Subscribers added this way are active straight away. Kit does not send its double opt-in email for them.
What is sent. Email, first name (when the quiz collects names), and the result as tags. Phone number is sent only when the quiz collects phone numbers and your Kit account already has a custom field with the key "phone" when you connect. Individual answers are not sent.
Send test. Sends a sample subscriber (a test address at quizfly.ai, named "QuizFly Test") with the first result's tags, so you can check your automation before real leads arrive.
Deliveries log. Every attempt, test or real, shows under Recent deliveries in the quiz's Webhook section, with the status and timing. Failures show the error. If Kit stops accepting your key, the Integrations card asks you to replace it.
Using another tool? QuizFly also connects to AWeber, systeme.io and Mailchimp. For anything else, the per-lead webhook passes each lead on, directly or through Zapier or Make.
