Who we are. QuizFly is operated by ClickTech Solutions Ltd, company number 09899629, registered office Leytonstone House, 3 Hanbury Drive, Leytonstone, London, E11 1GA, United Kingdom ("we"). Privacy questions: privacy@quizfly.ai.
This policy has two parts because QuizFly involves two kinds of people:
- Part A — you have a QuizFly account (you build quizzes).
- Part B — you took a quiz made by someone using QuizFly (you are a "visitor").
Part A — Account holders
What we collect
- Account data: email address, password (stored as a hash by our authentication provider), public handle, plan and billing status, the date you joined. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us so we can create and secure your account; we do not receive your Google password.
- Content you create: quizzes, outcomes, questions, encouragement copy, images you upload, webhook URLs and affiliate IDs you save.
- AI Generation inputs: the URL or text you submit and the extracted page text, kept with the generation record so you and we can see what the AI worked from.
- Usage data: pages you visit in the app and actions you take, collected with product analytics to improve the Service (see Cookies). On quizfly.ai we use PostHog (PostHog Inc., EU cloud, Frankfurt) for product analytics and session replay; quiz pages on quizfly.app and on custom domains do not load PostHog.
- Payment data: handled by our payment provider. We receive confirmation of payments, the plan purchased and the last four digits of your card; we never receive your full card number.
- Support correspondence when you contact us.
- Partner referrals: If you arrived through a partner's link, we record which partner referred you so we can pay them a commission on what you buy. We share the number of referred accounts and orders with the partner, never your email or your account details.

Who we share it with
Service providers who process data on our instructions: Supabase (database and authentication), Lovable (application hosting), Anthropic (AI Generation — receives the page text and settings you submit, not your account details), Pexels (stock image search terms), our payment provider FloPay and the gateways it routes to, Resend (email), PostHog (PostHog Inc., product analytics and session replay, hosted on their EU cloud in Frankfurt), and Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd (advertising measurement through the Meta Pixel on quizfly.ai only — never on quiz pages, quizfly.app or customer domains). Also professional advisers, and authorities where the law requires. We do not sell personal data.
We also send registration events to Meta from our own servers using Meta's Conversions API, so that we can measure our advertising when the browser pixel is blocked. That send includes a hashed (irreversible) form of your email address rather than the address itself. It covers sign-ups on quizfly.ai only — never quiz pages, quizfly.app or customer domains.
Where it is stored
Our database is hosted in the EU. Some providers process data in the United States under the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account is open, then 30 days to allow export, then deleted, except records we must keep for tax and accounting (6 years) and logs kept for security (up to 12 months).
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent, by emailing privacy@quizfly.ai. You can complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
Part B — Quiz visitors
Who is responsible for your data
When you take a quiz on quizfly.ai, the person or business who published it (the "quiz owner") decides why your details are collected and what happens to them. They are the data controller. QuizFly stores and processes your information on their behalf as a processor, under a data processing agreement.
If you want your details corrected or deleted, or to know how they are used, contact the quiz owner first. Their name appears in the quiz link (quizfly.app/their-handle/…). If you cannot reach them, email privacy@quizfly.ai with the quiz link and we will pass your request on and help where we can.
What is collected when you take a quiz
- Your answers and the result you were shown.
- Your email address, and your name if the quiz asks for it.
- Marketing tags in the link you clicked (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term), so the quiz owner can see which campaign you came from.
- A random session identifier stored in your browser tab for the duration of the quiz, used to count starts and completions. It is not linked to you and is discarded when you close the tab.
Quiz pages set no cookies unless the quiz owner has enabled advertising measurement, in which case you'll be asked before any such cookie is set (or, where the owner has chosen to load it immediately, the page will say so in its footer). We do not build profiles of visitors across quizzes. Where QuizFly runs a quiz itself on its own subdomains (such as try.quizfly.ai), the page uses the Meta Pixel to measure QuizFly's own advertising. On those QuizFly-run quizzes, a short-lived cookie may also carry the name and email you entered to the QuizFly sign-up form on the same device, so you don't have to type them twice; it expires within 15 minutes or on first use.
Where your details go
To the quiz owner's account in QuizFly and, if they have configured it, to a system of their choosing (for example their email marketing tool) via an automated notification. After that, the quiz owner's own privacy policy applies.
Quiz owners may send you your result and related emails through QuizFly's sending service; every such email carries an unsubscribe link that applies to that owner.
Quizzes QuizFly runs itself
On QuizFly-owned subdomains (such as try.quizfly.ai) QuizFly is the quiz owner and the data controller. We may email you the result you were shown and up to three follow-up emails about QuizFly over the following week. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops all of them. When you complete one of these quizzes we also tell Meta that a quiz was completed, from our servers, using a hashed form of your email address and your browser's Meta cookie values, so we can measure our own advertising. This does not happen on quizzes run by QuizFly customers.
Affiliate links
Quiz results may link to products for which the quiz owner is paid a commission. Quiz pages carry a notice to that effect.
How long QuizFly keeps it
For as long as the quiz owner keeps their account, or until they delete the lead. We delete leads within 30 days of an account closing.
