QuizFly connects directly to AWeber, systeme.io, Kit (formerly ConvertKit) and Mailchimp. For any other tool, the quiz's webhook and Make or Zapier do the same job. The webhook is available on Starter and above.
The five steps
- Create a webhook trigger. In Zapier choose Webhooks by Zapier and then Catch Hook. In Make add a Custom webhook module. Copy the URL it gives you.
- Paste the URL into your quiz. Open the quiz, go to Connect & Launch, then Webhook, and paste the URL.
- Press Send test. QuizFly posts a sample lead so Zapier or Make can learn the fields. In Make press Redetermine data structure first.
- Add a create-or-update contact step for your email tool. Map
emailto the email field, nameto the first name andphoneto the phone field if you collect it. - Tag by result. Add a router (Make) or paths (Zapier) on the
outcomefield, with one branch per result, each adding the tag your automations listen for.
What the payload contains
Email, name, phone and phone country (when the quiz collects them), the result the visitor got (outcome), the quiz title and slug, UTM values and the time the lead was created. See Webhooks for an example.
What it does not contain
Individual answers to each question are not sent.
Retries
QuizFly retries a failed delivery once and never holds up the visitor's quiz or their result email. Recent deliveries on the quiz shows every attempt. If three deliveries in a row fail, you get an email.
