Set it up
Account → Tracking pixels — add any of: Meta Pixel ID, TikTok Pixel ID, GA4 Measurement ID. These become the defaults for every quiz you own.
Per quiz: Setup → Tracking & disclosure → use account defaults, custom IDs for this quiz, or no tracking.
What fires
| Moment | Meta | TikTok | GA4 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Quiz loads | PageView | page | page_view |
| Email submitted | Lead | SubmitForm | generate_lead |
| Result shown | ViewContent (outcome name) | ViewContent | view_item (outcome name) |
Redirect outcomes fire the events first, then send the visitor on.
Embedded quizzes and custom domains behave the same way. Inside an embed, browsers may limit third-party cookies; that's a browser rule, not a QuizFly setting.
Consent
Pixels set cookies, so by default QuizFly shows visitors a small bar — This quiz uses cookies to measure ads. Accept / No thanks — and only loads pixels after Accept. This is the safe choice for visitors in the UK, EU and other regions that require consent for advertising cookies.
You can switch a quiz to Load immediately in Setup. Do that only if you've assessed your own obligations for the audience you're targeting; QuizFly then notes in the footer that the page uses cookies.
Checking it works
Install the Meta Pixel Helper (Chrome extension), open your quiz, accept the bar, and you should see PageView; complete the quiz and you'll see Lead then ViewContent. GA4 shows events in Realtime within a minute.
