Publish is the button at the top of the builder and at the end of the Quiz Wizard. On a free account it opens the plans. Choose one, pay, and your quiz publishes itself within a few seconds. Your link appears on the quiz card and in the Share menu. Starter includes 3 live quizzes; unpublish one to free a slot. Drafts have no public link; you can preview them as much as you like from the Preview button.
Once a quiz is live, you also get a Copy link button, a QR code to download, and the embed snippet.
Once a quiz is live, the same dialog carries a Get a Traffic pack → link — that opens Ads Suite, where you can buy ready-made ads for it.
Slots. Your plan includes a number of live quizzes — that's a slot. Drafts don't use slots; only published quizzes do. The pill in the top-right shows how many you're using. If all slots are used, unpublish a quiz or upgrade.
Publishing checks. A quiz needs at least 2 outcomes and 1–20 questions, every answer needs at least one weight, and every outcome must be reachable. The builder warns about each of these before you get to Publish.
Result links. If any outcome's button has no web address, Publish shows a note naming those outcomes. You can Publish anyway — those visitors simply see their result with no button — or go back and add the links. A live quiz with missing links keeps a yellow reminder at the top of the builder.
Unpublishing takes the link offline immediately (visitors see "This quiz isn't available"). Leads and stats are kept. Republishing restores the same link.
Editing a live quiz is fine — changes are live as soon as they save. Adding or removing an outcome on a live quiz will change results for future visitors, so preview first.
Your quiz link and its slug
Every published quiz lives at quizfly.app/<your handle>/<slug>. The slug is the last part — the bit you control per quiz.
- On a new quiz the slug follows the title as you type, until you edit the slug yourself or publish the quiz. After either of those, the title and the slug are independent.
- Changing a slug after publishing breaks any links you've already shared — old links stop working. The builder warns you and asks you to confirm before letting you edit it.
- Slugs are lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens only. Apostrophes and punctuation are dropped, not turned into hyphens: "What's your agency's big problem?" becomes
whats-your-agencys-big-problem. - Slugs only need to be unique among your own quizzes. If one is taken, we add a number.

If you've connected a custom domain, your links use it automatically once you star it on the Domains page.
Only domains that are currently active can be chosen in Connect & Launch → Link → Domain; anything else shows as (not active). If you see "This domain isn't active", the domain isn't serving quizzes right now — fix it on the Domains page and the quiz's links keep using quizfly.app until it's back.
One Copy link. The Publish card has a single Copy link button beside your URL. Unpublish lives in the builder header, not inside the card.
A locked path. Once a quiz is published its path shows as plain locked text with a small padlock. Tick the unlock box to edit it — you'll be warned that old links break.
A temporary handle. New accounts get a generated handle like sharp-gecko-04. Until you change it, the Publish card and the first publish confirmation show a short notice with a link to change it in Account. Pick your own before you share the link — see Quiz links and your handle.
