Start on question 1 (recommended). The landing screen shows your title and description with the first question directly beneath it — as photo cards if question 1 has photos. The first tap is already progress. This usually gets more people into the quiz.
Show a start screen. A title, description and a Start button before any question. Use it when you want a moment of framing first, or when the quiz is embedded in a page that already carries the pitch.
Either way, the reassurance line under question 1 ("12 quick questions · Instant results") is generated from your question count.
