Create → Start screen.
The card holds your quiz title, your description, the first-screen choice and an optional hero image.
Where the title and description are used. They set the browser tab and the link preview people see when your quiz is shared on WhatsApp, Meta or X. They no longer appear above question 1. Keep the description under 150 characters so it isn't cut off in previews.
Start on question 1 (recommended). The landing screen goes straight to question 1 — as photo cards if question 1 has photos — so all the answers fit on a phone screen without scrolling. Because this is the first thing visitors read, write question 1 so it makes sense on its own.
Show a start screen. Your title and description with a Start button before any question. Use it when you want a moment of framing first, or when the quiz is embedded in a page that already carries the pitch.
Your start-screen image
The hero image is optional. It appears only when the quiz opens on a start screen, never when it opens on question 1.
New AI-generated quizzes start with the first result's photo when one is available. You can swap it, upload your own or remove it. Photo search uses the same library as answer photos.
Your own uploads sit in a 16:9 frame. Design for 1200 × 675; images are cropped from the centre, so landscape images with the subject near the middle work best.
Either way, the reassurance line is generated from your question count, for example: "8 quick questions · about two minutes · free".
Preview start screen at the top of the card opens the preview so you can see it as a visitor would.
